Review tests for use of ISM extended metadata modes

Currently, the extended Metadata mode for ISM is covered in the automated tests like this:

• selftest -> 2 testcases, one of them with BR switching
• smoketest -> not used
• complexity -> used, but "un-extended" MD is not used anymore, so some lower BRs are not measured anymore
• sanitizer Tests -> not used

Tests should be extended to cover this new modes as well
