IVAS_rend OMASA BINAURAL rendering has very low gain for ISM

Basic info

  • Encoder (float): NA
  • Decoder: NA
  • IVAS_rend: 4eaf9a376b

Bug description

IVAS BASOP IVAS_rend produces binaural audio from OMASA config that has ISM level way too low (maybe -30dB too low level).

In the signal plot it can be seen that ISM contribution to binaural output is non-existent.

Ways to reproduce

This works

ivas_rend_float -if META -i ism1_plus_masa_scene.txt -of BINAURAL -o float_binaural.wav

This has too low level for ISM

ivas_rend_basop -if META -i ism1_plus_masa_scene.txt -of BINAURAL -o basop_binaural.wav

The short test vector files that can be used are:

  • stvOMASA_1ISM_2MASA2TC48c.wav
  • stvISM1.csv
  • stv1MASA2TC48c.met

In addition following scene file can be used.

ism1_plus_masa_scene.txt

Also -of STEREO will produce similar output with ISM signal almost muted.
