Yet another waveform discrepency in decoding received SBA packets with 15% FER

Fixed decoder sha: 77241999

Float decoder sha: d9fdb374

Encoder: d9fdb374

Renderer: d9fdb374

Supporting files: Box\_EXTERNAL_IVAS_BASOP_VERIFICATION\issues\issue-973

  • bit: input bitstream
  • pl15.g192: loss patterns

Command line:

./IVAS_dec -no_delay_cmp HOA2 48 bit dec.wav
./IVAS_rend -i dec.wav -if HOA2 -o out.wav -of BINAURAL

Observations: Ran an 32kbps HOA2 bitstream with 15% FER through the decoder, we observed a period of about 20ms in which the fixed-point output and the floating-point output showing very different waveforms, as illustrated in the following plot. The input audio was an HOA2 signal leveled to -16LKFS.
