Long self test implementation against BASOP main.

Here is the MR for CI repo. In addition, we need to add the manual pipeline type option to the BASOP repo itself as those seem to be in the .gitlab-ci/variables.yml file there. I wonder if there was a reason why they cannot be centralized.
