Delete README.md

canterburym requested to merge fix/cleanup_readme into main

Moving the commit history over from the Trial area created a parallel "README.MD" - annoyingly with a different case because I work on Windows. Since Michele's original is more correct, we should get rid of the "newer" one from the Trial area.
