Reason why this change is needed

  • With minimal adjustment, the same code can be used to (un)quantize the gain in GSC for both EVS and IVAS.

Description of the change

  • Reusing the EVS GSC gain quantizer function, where the extra needed code to deal with L_FRAME16k is added.
  • It is not always BE for IVAS because of some difference in rounding, but quality is not impacted.

Affected operating points

  • Affects all operating points where GSC is used.
  • Both bitstream and synthesis are not BE due to small changes in the way the computation is done.
  • Bitstream compatibility is kept.
