Reason why this change is needed

  • Under certain conditions, specifically when the internal sampling rate is 32 kHz, the computed pitch value may exceed the maximum range supported by the Q6 format. In these rare cases, the pitch must be saturated to avoid wrap‑around, which could otherwise result in negative pitch values.
