Due to a bug in one of the intermediate VS Code releases, the following commit message was accidentally added by VS code:

Co-authored-by: Copilot <copilot@github.com>

This occurred in commits dee49a29 and 26e2c28d. The purpose of this issue is to remove the incorrect commit messages and replace it with the proper commit messages.

Revert the incorrect commit messages and replace it with the proper commit message.
