Reason why this change is needed

  • This matches the algorithm change in BASOP

Description of the change

  • Adds a tighter gain clamp for decorrelated diffuse signal, when prototype energy is low. This avoids overtly amplifying low energy signals which are problematic on BASOP side.

Affected operating points

  • Renderer and decoder non-BE
  • Main effect is in MASA/OMASA to MONO/FOA/HOA but due to processing paths involved, this could also affect SBA and McMASA.
